Install PharmaPOS on your device
Get the app icon on your home screen, launch fullscreen, use it offline-ready.
PharmaPOS is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — no App Store, no Play Store, no install file. From any modern browser you can pin it to your desktop or home screen and launch it fullscreen like a native app.
On Android (Chrome, Edge)
- Open pharmapos.org in Chrome.
- Tap the browser menu (⋮) and pick Install app or Add to home screen.
- Confirm. The PharmaPOS icon appears on your home screen.
On iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open pharmapos.org in Safari — not Chrome, which lacks PWA install on iOS.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom.
- Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen. Confirm.
On Windows, Mac, Linux (Chrome, Edge, Brave)
Look for the small install icon in the address bar (a computer with a down-arrow). Click it. On macOS, PharmaPOS lands in your Applications folder and dock; on Windows, in the Start menu.
What you get vs a browser tab
- Own icon, own window — no browser chrome, no tab clutter.
- Faster launch — the app shell is cached locally.
- Keyboard shortcuts don't collide with Ctrl+T, Ctrl+W, etc.
- Auto-updates in the background whenever we ship — you never install a patch by hand.
Offline billing is not enabled yet. Reads stay responsive on flaky networks but committing a sale requires connectivity — this prevents duplicate invoice numbers. See the roadmap in the FAQ.
